The Development of my concept begun with the (development) of a mind map, shown below.
It provides a great extrapolation of the ideas and themes around my project and learning from landscape - from design statements derived from brief interpretation and observations during research to possible design features; some of which that pertained until the end of the project ('seamless façade', long glass window.
One particular concept that became quite significant in my project, was the consideration of the landscape as a metaphor for Architecture; where architecture has the ability to facilitate the growth of learning, in the same way the landscape facilitates the growth of nature.
